I am working with an innovative and growing business based in Blackpool, and they are looking to recruit a proactive Credit Controller to take ownership of their customer accounts and play a key role in maintaining a healthy cash flow.
Your Role
As Credit Controller, you'll be responsible for:
* Managing the collection of outstanding payments from customers
* Taking a proactive approach to reduce aged debt
* Building strong relationships with customers to encourage timely payments
* Monitoring customer credit limits and ensuring adherence
* Resolving queries quickly and professionally
* Working closely with internal teams to support the credit control process
This is more than just chasing payments – it’s about maintaining positive customer relationships while keeping accounts up to date.
The successful Credit Controller will be
* Proven experience in a Credit Control role (minimum 2 years)
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities
* Confident using SAGE and Excel
