Role – Landscape Architect
Location – Birmingham
Salary – £36 – £42K DOE
Our client is an established, multidisciplinary consultancy that is looking to bring in a Landscape Architect with LVIA experience to support their growing pipeline of planning-led work. The team is based in a central Birmingham location, well connected by public transport and offering a flexible approach to hybrid working. Their work spans a broad mix of sectors including residential development, strategic land promotion, infrastructure and mixed-use masterplanning, often on large-scale sites where landscape plays a key role in shaping the overall vision.
The Role
The successful Landscape Architect will be involved in delivering landscape planning work, with a focus on LVIA, while also contributing to the wider design process where appropriate. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys the analytical side of landscape architecture but still wants to stay connected to design.
Landscape Architect Responsibilities
* Preparation of LVIAs and supporting landscape planning reports
* Input into planning applications and environmental assessments
* Working alongside a multidisciplinary team including design and environmental specialists
* Site analysis and project support across a range of schemes
* Contribution to projects from early stages through to submission
Landscape Architect Requirements
* Degree in landscape architecture
* Experience in LVIA or landscape planning
* Strong written and analytical skills
* Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team
* CMLI or working towards
* An interest in both the technical and design aspects of projects
