Maintenance Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-site performance of operation and maintenance activities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise contractors as required.
* Support routine asset inspection activities.
* Closing out snagging items.
* Performing interim, preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
* Servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
* Repairing paint and/or coating systems.
* Cleaning boat landings and substructures.
* Packing and transporting tools and equipment for maintenance activities.
* Managing tools, test equipment, and personal protective equipment.
* Reporting and investigating defects and underperformance.
* Supporting subcontractors in executing scopes of inspection and maintenance activity.
* Providing client oversight on WTG Main component and other major repair activities.
* Daily reporting on operational status using software systems.
* Assisting with authoring and updating Method Statements and Risk Assessments for operational activities.
Requirements:
* A full apprenticeship in control instrumentation, mechanical, or electrical engineering is preferred.
* Formal qualifications such as BTEC or HNC would be advantageous.
* Evidence of extensive industry-specific technical training.
* All current offshore certifications.
* IOSH Managing Safely certification (preferable).
* Extensive experience in an O&M environment within the offshore wind or Oil and Gas industry.
* Meet the physical and medical requirements for working offshore.
* Experienced in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components.
* Experience in installation and commissioning of offshore assets.
* Management of statutory written schemes of examination (preferable).
* Offshore or WTG experience at technician level within a Turbine OEM (preferable).
* Knowledge of electro-mechanical safety rules and systems (preferably with experience as an authorized person).

Working Conditions:
The role will primarily be based at the Operations & Maintenance Centre located in Buckie, Morayshire. Frequent travel to the offshore assets via Crew Transfer Vessel and Service Operation Vessel will be required. Working hours and times will vary.
