A Vacancy at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH). We are recruiting a Clinical Psychologist to work in the Doncaster Neurodevelopmental (ASD & ADHD) assessment pathway on a permanent 7/8a developmental post with full-time or part-time hours. You will undertake psychological assessments of children up to 18 years as part of a wider team.
There are strong links with the Clinical Psychology training course at the University of Sheffield and Hull. The Neurodevelopmental pathways in the Children’s care group have been developing an integrated multi-agency/disciplinary service, and you will join a dynamic and supportive group of psychologists and other professionals committed to a compassionate framework that prioritises development and well-being.

Responsibilities
* Undertake psychological assessments of children up to 18 years as part of the neurodevelopmental pathway.
* Provide consultation to families, schools, and other professionals regarding Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) queries.
* Conduct ADHD and Autism assessments and consider differential diagnoses.
* Apply specialist psychological assessment and intervention skills across diverse care settings within multi-agency teams.
* Develop and communicate formulation that identifies a young person’s strengths and needs; work collaboratively within a team.
* Demonstrate Doctoral-level knowledge of research design and methodology to support service development.
Qualifications and Experience
* Doctoral level knowledge of research design and methodology; ability to apply this in a clinical context.
* Experience as a clinical psychologist or trainee clinical psychologist with specialist psychological assessment and interventions across varied client groups and settings.
* Experience working in multi-agency teams and with a wide variety of client groups reflecting a range of clinical severities.
* Excellent communication skills; ability to provide consultation to families, schools, and professionals.
* Ability to formulate a young person’s strengths and needs; strong commitment to professional development and collaborative practice.
