The Opportunity
What You\'ll Be Doing Day to Day
* Clinical Leadership: Take the lead on your shifts, guiding and inspiring a dedicated team of Health Care Assistants and Care Assistants to deliver exceptional care.
* Championing Resident Care: Support the physical, psychological, and social wellbeing of our residents, ensuring dignity and respect in every interaction.
* Shaping Personalised Care: Develop, implement, and review tailored care plans, safely administering medication, and maintaining the highest standards of practice.
* Compliance and Safety: Apply a solid understanding of DoLS and the Mental Capacity Act (MCA), providing a safe, nurturing environment and protecting residents\' rights.
Essential Requirements
* Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN) with a valid, current NMC registration.
* Commitment to working permanent day shifts in South Somerset (full-time contract).
* A passion for person-centred care, combined with excellent communication and collaborative team working skills.
* Strong clinical knowledge and a proactive, positive attitude ready to inspire colleagues.
* Experience in nursing homes or dementia care is desirable but not essential if you demonstrate the right attitude and transferable skills.
