Carroll Close is a supported living service for two individuals who each live in their own self contained flat within a converted house. Both people we support have complex needs, and as a Support Worker you will follow clear, structured support plans to ensure consistent, person centred care. In this role, you will promote positive self image, support health and wellbeing, encourage informed decision making, and actively promote independence. You will also help individuals maintain relationships with friends and support the people we support to access the community—whether for social activities or creative opportunities. Shift Patterns -Upstairs: 08:00–15:30, 15:30–23:00 -Downstairs: 08:00–15:30, 15:30–23:00 -Sleep ins also required We are primarily recruiting for downstairs hours, though occasional upstairs shifts may become available. The successful Support Worker will: -Bring enthusiasm and energy to the service -Have excellent communication skills. -Have knowledge of Autism. -Have a caring manner and a tolerant nature. -Be empathic -Be able to work as part of a team and all work in the same way, to provide continuity. -Be an enthusiastic and energetic member of the team. A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
