The role
Online Dispatch & Warehouse Team Member This is a varied role supporting all aspects of warehousing across three online platforms. The business handles a wide range of products, from parts and machinery to PPE and forestry equipment, so attention to detail and efficiency are key.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Picking, packing, and preparing online orders, particularly during busy periods
- Coordinating daily courier collections and managing related documentation
- Handling returns and liaising with other departments to ensure correct processing, including repairs or warranty work
- Following processes and keeping accurate records, including machine data for warranty purposes
- Assisting with goods in, stock organisation, and storage in the correct locations
What We’re Looking For:- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Comfortable handling a variety of items, including machinery and heavier stock
- Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues across departments via phone, email, and in person
- Basic computer skills, including creating shipping labels and checking stock levels
- Forklift licence is a bonus, but not essential
Additional Information:- Some machines require inspection before dispatch
- All necessary lifting equipment is provided
- This is a physical role, so a level of fitness is required
Salary & Benefits:- Starting salary: £26,520 per year (based on a 40-hour week)
