This newly created position offers the opportunity to build and shape a first-class revenue management function, that will be the first of its kind in the industry, with significant influence across both central teams and a large national stakeholder network.
This job would suit an experienced Director or Head of Revenue Management to lead the development of pricing, promotions and revenue strategy across a complex, data-rich organisation. You will be responsible for creating and implementing strategic revenue plans, shaping digital and data-led functionality, and aligning senior internal stakeholders and regional partners around a unified approach to profitable growth.
Our client is a highly respected, fast-growing e-commerce business with annual revenues of £1.5bn, over £1bn of which is generated through digital channels. Well-known across the UK, the company has continued to expand year on year and is now investing heavily in the development of revenue management, dynamic pricing and data-driven decision-making to drive further commercial performance. This role sits at the heart of that evolution, working closely with marketing, digital, data and senior leadership to influence key outcomes across the organisation.
The successful individual will be a commercial leader with dynamic pricing skills, exceptional communication abilities and experience shaping strategic pricing or revenue-driven initiatives. You will be comfortable working with large datasets in a high-volume transaction environment, navigating multiple stakeholder viewpoints and using insight to influence outcomes at senior levels. A confident communicator with strong negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills will thrive in this environment, supported by a proactive and data-driven mindset.
Responsibilities include:
* Design, test and implement national promotional frameworks that balance customer appeal with profitability.
* Own the annual promotional calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns and customer trading cycles.
* Evaluate promotion performance using data, insight and finance input to optimise future plans.
* Conduct price elasticity modelling to optimise profit and lifetime value for the business and its partners.
* Act as the commercial partner for the wider network on revenue matters, supporting local pricing and promotional strategies.
* Build trusted relationships with key regional stakeholders to drive alignment on pricing, promotions and revenue strategy.
* Partner with data, insights and digital teams to shape requirements for revenue management tools and digital functionality.
* Define and manage the strategy for aggregator platforms, negotiating terms and monitoring channel performance.
* Develop strategy for commercial partnerships and affiliates, negotiating agreements and monitoring contribution.
* Embed a data-first culture and lead the ongoing review of tools, policies and approaches to maximise revenue optimisation.
