Interim Group Reporting Manager
3 Month Contract | East Midlands Based | Outside IR35
THE OPPORTUNITY
AtkinsClarke are supporting a high-growth, PE-backed B2B services group with the appointment of an Interim Group Reporting Manager to support through a critical year-end period.
This is a hands-on role focused on delivering high-quality consolidated group accounts and streamlining the statutory reporting process. The successful candidate will ideally be available to start before year-end (end of March) and will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and controlled reporting cycle.
THE ORGANISATION
Our client is a rapidly scaling, private equity-backed business with turnover of c.£100m. The group has grown quickly through a combination of organic growth and acquisition, resulting in a complex group structure.
The business is now entering a more structured phase of reporting and requires additional expertise to support the consolidation and statutory accounts process.
THE ROLE
Working closely with senior finance leadership, this role will take ownership of key financial reporting deliverables during year-end.
Responsibilities will include:
* Leading the preparation of consolidated group accounts across multiple entities
* Supporting the production and completion of statutory accounts
* Reviewing and improving the current consolidation process
* Ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance across group reporting
* Liaising with auditors and supporting the audit process
* Resolving technical accounting issues where required
* Supporting the finance team through year-end close and reporting timelines
This is a highly visible role that will require someone comfortable operating at pace within a growing and evolving environment.
THE PERSON
We are looking for a technically strong finance professional who:
* Is ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Has strong experience in group consolidations and statutory accounts
* Has ideally worked within a PE-backed or multi-entity environment
* Is confident managing complex reporting structures
* Can operate independently and deliver to tight deadlines
* Is hands-on, pragmatic and solutions-focused
