The Role
As a Stores Person, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the production and supply chain function. You'll be responsible for the control and movement of inventory from goods-in through to despatch, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent internal service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out perpetual stock checks (Cat. A & B) and daily cycle counts, investigating discrepancies and ensuring system accuracy.
2. Check kanbans and maintain lineside stock levels.
3. Pick and process kits to predetermined picklists, preparing parts for assembly.
4. Manage and maintain stock locations, ensuring correct labelling, FIFO rotation, and safe storage-particularly for fragile or specialist items.
5. Receive deliveries, verify quality and quantity, and process goods-in documentation.
