D365 HR Functional Consultant

Location: hybrid, must be accessible to Lincolnshire ad hoc
Pay: Inside IR35, up to £715/day
Role
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant with a strong track record in implementing HR modules within D365 Finance and AX 2012. This is a key role within a high-profile transformation programme, requiring both hands-on configuration expertise and stakeholder management skills. You\'ll lead on functional delivery, guiding clients through the full implementation life cycle—from requirements gathering through to go-live and post-launch support.
Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver D365 HR module implementations, ensuring alignment with business needs
* Analyse and translate business processes into functional designs and documentation
* Configure, test, and demonstrate D365 HR functionality
* Manage data migration and system integration testing for HR modules
* Support UAT, cutover planning, and go-live activities
* Lead and mentor consultants, owning key deliverables and client engagement
* Conduct workshops, facilitate decisions, and manage stakeholder expectations
Qualifications
* Proven experience implementing D365 HR modules (essential)
* Experience with AX 2012 and D365 Finance
* 3-4 full life cycle implementations
* Strong understanding of HR data entities and data migration strategies
* Confident stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation
* Skilled in functional design, documentation, and DevOps tracking
* Microsoft Dynamics certifications preferred
