Job Description:
A fast-growing Interior Design company which offering curated furniture packages and luxury residential interior design is seeking for a Mandarin Speaking Bespoke Joinery Specialist to join their team. As part of the growth, the company are now extending their expertise into fully Bespoke interiors, crafting spaces that embody each client[‘s individuality.
Job Title: Mandarin Speaking Bespoke Joinery Specialist
Location: Greenwich, London
Salary: #25,000 to £35,000 per year (plus commission & bonuses)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
* Design & Development: Create detailed concepts for custom joinery (wardrobes, shelving, kitchen cabinetry, vanities, etc.), ensuring seamless integration into overall interiors.
* Technical Execution: Produce precise joinery drawing packages and specifications for fabrication, adhering to spatial and functional requirements.
* Collaboration: Work closely with joiners, contractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate execution and quality craftsmanship.
* Client Engagement: Attend meetings and site visits, presenting designs and refining solutions based on feedback.
* Material Sourcing: Select finishes, hardware, and materials that align with design briefs, budgets, and aesthetic goals.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of interior design experience, with a portfolio highlighting bespoke joinery projects.
* Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent).
* Deep knowledge of joinery construction, materials, and detailing.
* Strong communicator with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and teams.
* Organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
* Keen eye for proportion, balance, and functional design.
