We are looking for a Food Technology Technician to join a welcoming secondary school in Wakefield after the Easter break. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a busy and creative Food Technology department, helping both staff and pupils get the most out of practical learning. What you’ll be doing You’ll be the person who keeps the Food Technology kitchen running smoothly. From preparing ingredients to supporting lessons, your work will make a real difference to the classroom experience. Your responsibilities will include: • Preparing and organising ingredients and equipment for practical food lessons • Supporting the Food Technology teacher during practical sessions • Assisting pupils while they work in the kitchen environment • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised food preparation space • Monitoring stock levels and helping with ordering supplies • Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are always followed What we’re looking for We’re keen to hear from people who are reliable, proactive, and enjoy supporting young people in a learning environment.
