Job Description
Responsibilities for the Sustaining Engineer Team Leader include:
1. Lead and mentor a team of sustaining engineers and technical staff.
2. Investigate and resolve complex product and system issues.
3. Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
4. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and service teams.
5. Manage engineering change processes and lifecycle documentation.
6. Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting combustion, chiller, and mechanical systems.
7. Support cost‑reduction efforts, supplier transitions, and component‑obsolescence planning.
8. Ensure product compliance with applicable industry standards and internal policies.
9. Identify and drive opportunities for product and process improvements.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Sustaining Engineer Team Leader should have:
10. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's preferred.
11. 5+ years of engineering experience, ideally in sustaining or product support roles.
12. Experience with combustion systems, chiller systems, or complex mechanical systems.
13. Strong hands‑on troubleshooting skills for electro‑mechanical systems.
14. Proficiency with CAD tools and engineering documentation systems.
15. Strong communication, leadership, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
16. Ability to work independently in the without sponsorship.
17. Preferred: experience in HVAC, industrial equipment, control systems, and regulatory compliance.
