Job Title: Data Governance Analyst (Delivery Focused)
Location: Euston, UK-2days/week Onsite
Duration: 6months+ Contract Inside IR35
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Data Governance Analyst to support digital transformation initiatives. This is a delivery-focused role, requiring strong implementation experience rather than advisory.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive data governance implementation, including data ownership frameworks and accountability models
* Define and enforce data policies, standards, and data lifecycle processes
* Work closely with business teams to identify critical data assets and assign data owners
* Support and guide stakeholders with practical governance solutions (e.g., campaign data usage, compliance issues)
* Implement and manage data quality, access controls, and governance tools/catalogues
* Collaborate cross-functionally (Tech, Compliance, Business) to ensure data integrity and regulatory alignment
Required Experience
* Strong experience in data governance delivery / implementation (not advisory)
* Background in data governance, data quality, compliance, or similar hands-on roles
* Experience with data governance or data cataloguing tools
* Proven ability to define data ownership and implement governance processes with real-world examples
* Strong stakeholder management – ability to present, influence, and secure buy-in
* Experience working in digital transformation environments
* Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
