They are now seeking an experienced and driven Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join them in September, contributing to high-quality teaching and learning across the school.
About the Role
As an HLTA, you will work closely with class teachers to enrich teaching and learning across a range of subjects. You’ll help deliver engaging lessons, lead small-group sessions, and provide targeted support that nurtures confidence, progress, and wellbeing—ensuring every child feels valued and included.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the planning and delivery of engaging, high-quality lessons
Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group intervention
Assist with classroom management and promote positive behaviour
Offer compassionate pastoral and emotional support
Prepare learning resources and monitor pupil progress
Deliver interventions for pupils with additional learning needs
Build strong, professional relationships with staff, parents, and carers
✅ What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as an HLTA or in a similar TA role
A proactive, caring, and enthusiastic attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Confidence in delivering learning activities and supporting diverse needs
HLTA qualification or relevant experience (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
