Financial Accountant – 2 Year Fixed Term Contract

Here’s an exciting opportunity to take your finance career to the next level. We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to support effective financial management by delivering timely, accurate financial information that aids decision making within a well-established company in Co. Fermanagh.
Your New Job:
As Financial Accountant you will report directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This is a fast-paced environment where you’ll collaborate with a variety of teams and operations, focusing on both regular financial operations and strategic projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review and present monthly divisional management accounts, meeting strict deadlines
• Reconcile and review balance sheet control accounts
• Conduct variance and trend analyses to highlight risks and opportunities
• Oversee statutory returns (VAT, Intrastat, VIES) and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Support the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and preparing statutory financial statements
Requirements:
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA)
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role; background in manufacturing is desirable
• Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage)
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
• Strong organisational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
