3-week rotating pattern - days & nights (06:00 to 18:00 & 18:00 to 06:00). No Sunday work & 1 in 3 Saturdays. Burton upon Trent.
£47,598 salary (including 20% shift allowance) + benefits.

Role Overview
The Maintenance Fitter provides engineering support and maintenance services across the Burton manufacturing site. The role focuses on Planned Preventative Maintenance and Breakdown Response on process equipment in production and support areas, ensuring equipment is maintained effectively and repairs are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities at Burton site.
2. Deliver work within departmental budget.
3. Ensure availability of maintenance spares.
4. Develop and implement maintenance processes and procedures.
5. Meet site KPIs such as H&S, production TME, CI & 8D.
6. Complete maintenance schedules as per plan.
7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and corporate standards.
8. Apply lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
9. Coordinate with other MEL functions like engineering and EHSQ.
10. Perform additional tasks within capability as needed.
Required Skills
* Mechanical or electrical maintenance background (City & Guilds).
* Core mechanical/electrical workshop skills.
* Experience with CMMS, ideally SAP - PM module.
* Experience with contractor control systems.
* Ability to work with Continuous Improvement initiatives.
