We are currently seeking an experienced Civils Supervisor for a freelance, ongoing role based in Inverness. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic project team, overseeing civil engineering works with a strong focus on quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise day-to-day site operations across civil works
* Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
* Manage site teams, subcontractors, and coordinate activities effectively
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
* Oversee and support peat handling operations in line with best practice
* Conduct site inspections, reporting, and documentation as required
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders
Requirements
* Proven experience working as a Civils Supervisor
* Demonstrable experience in peat handling and environmental management
* Strong understanding of civil engineering practices and site supervision
* Valid CSCS card (or equivalent)
* SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work independently and manage site operations effectively
