Responsibilities
This is a full-time, on-site Optician role based between Stanway in Colchester & Clacton-On-Sea. The Optician will assist customers in selecting and fitting eyewear, perform eye exams, and support customers with their optical and vision care needs. Responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining accurate prescriptions, and working closely with other team members to deliver top-quality service in a friendly and professional environment.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of Optics and Optometry practices, including eye exams
* Commitment to exceptional Customer Service and ensuring Customer Satisfaction
* Experience in eyewear fitting and managing prescriptions
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Certification or qualifications in Optometry and GOC registration required
* Previous experience in retail or healthcare settings is a plus
