Barnardo's Northern Star is an established service based in Aberdeen Primary Schools aiming to help close the attainment gap. Our model utilises the principles of nurture and trauma informed therapeutic approaches.
We are looking for a selfmotivated individual, who thrives on using their owninitiative whilst being part of a team to promote best practice and achieve positive outcomes for children and families. The project worker will become an integral part of the school they are based in, providing individualsupport, group work and also family focused support in the home environments and community.
To offer consistency, the successful candidate will be expected to work during periods of school holidays, and occasional weekend and evenings when required.
