A leading specialty insurance firm in the London Market is investing significantly in its data strategy and is hiring a BI Developer to help shape and deliver on this vision. What you’ll do:
* Develop robust and insightful Power BI dashboards for underwriting, performance, and operational reporting
* Design and build efficient data models using DAX and SQL
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights
* Contribute to the ongoing buildout of a modern, scalable data platform
* Participate in shaping the data culture within a business committed to transformation
Must-have experience:
* London Markets insurance experience (e.g. syndicates, brokers, MGAs, carriers)
* Strong SQL skills for querying and data preparation
* Advanced DAX for data modelling and analysis
* Power BI experience in a business-facing environment
Nice to have:
* Python for data analysis or scripting
* Familiarity with cloud data environments (e.g. Azure, Snowflake, Databricks)
