**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide strong **clinical** leadership and daily management to the unit, ensuring the delivery of outstanding, person-centred **elderly care**.
* Act as a **clinical lead**, mentoring and supervising a team of **staff nurses** and care assistants, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
* Take responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for all residents on the unit.
* Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies, maintaining the highest standards of care and safety.
* Manage **medication rounds**, complex wound care, and other clinical interventions to a high standard.
* Work collaboratively with the **Home Manager**, **Deputy Manager**, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for residents.
* effectively manage resources, staff rostering, and contribute to the financial performance of the unit.
* Champion the safeguarding and dignity of all residents.
**What We Are Looking For (Essential Requirements):**
* A valid **NMC PIN** as a **Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD)**.
* A minimum of **3 years of post-qualification experience** within a UK **nursing home** or **care home** setting.
* **Proven experience in a leadership role** (e.g., Senior Staff Nurse, **Clinical Deputy Manager**, **Unit Lead**, **Deputy Manager**).
* Strong **clinical** skills with excellent knowledge of **elderly care**, chronic disease management, and CQC standards.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
