Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Lecturer to join our team, delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to support our learners in achieving their full potential. You will play a key role in designing and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that meet curriculum standards and reflect industry needs. The Lecturer will contribute to curriculum development, provide academic and pastoral support to learners, and work closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure an outstanding learning experience.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, inclusive teaching across a range of Engineering courses. Design and develop curriculum content aligned with industry needs. Provide academic and pastoral support to learners. Monitor and track student progress and implement targeted interventions. Foster collaboration with external partners and colleagues to enhance the learning environment.
Qualifications
Must-Have
* Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one
* Hold a minimum Level 2-4 in Electrical Engineering or a related qualification
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English
* Hold an IQA or equivalent
Nice-to-Have
* Experience of working in an Electrical Engineering environment
* Evidence of effective tracking and monitoring of a wide range of students on a range of different programmes
* Experience of teaching manufacturing engineering to a range of learners
