Role: Secondary School Science Technician Agency: Colmore Education Location: Coventry / West Midlands region Contract types: Full-time or part-time / term-time only / long-term or temp-to-perm Key responsibilities: * Prepare and set up equipment and materials for practical Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) * Ensure safe storage, maintenance and handling of equipment and chemicals (COSHH etc) * Support teachers and students during practical sessions * Maintain clean and organised laboratory/prep space * Requirements: * Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a school or laboratory setting * Strong understanding of science equipment, laboratory safety, and preparation of materials * Science qualification (A-Level or higher) desirable * Excellent organisation, communication and teamwork skills * Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
