Job Title: Clinical Lead - Community Mental Health Access and Brief Treatment Service

The service is currently developing and is in a period of transformation, so now is an exciting time to join and be involved with the implementation and development of new ways of working. Our Clinical Leads provide advice, clinical leadership, supervision, and training to the MHAABTT team, and are responsible for ensuring the consistent provision of high-quality mental health care to people in community adult mental health settings.
The post holder will work as an integral part of the senior leadership team to ensure the effective, efficient, and sustained development of our service. The Clinical Lead will collaborate closely with Service Leads, Team Managers, Governance Team, Quality Lead, Operational Leads, and colleagues in Primary Care and Voluntary Sector services to achieve high-quality, innovative care in adult mental health settings, with a focus on embedding principles of reablement and trauma-informed care.
Main duties of the job:
* Providing clinical leadership and supervision to clinicians within the MHAABTT team, and working alongside the leadership team to develop and implement policies, processes, and ways of working.
* Providing induction and supervision to new team members.
* Managing referrals to secondary mental health services via triage and initial assessment in collaboration with colleagues.
* Working in partnership with GPs, referring agencies, and community mental health teams including Early Interventions in Psychosis, Home Treatment Team, and Talking Therapies.
