Carbon60 are currently looking for a warehouse operative to join a client of ours based on a military site in Shawbury. This is a 6 month contract role offering both PAYE and Umbrella rates. Our client is one of the leading aircraft and helicopter manufacturers who work closely with the aviation, space, and defence sectors.

Responsibilities
* To coordinate the operation of a work area within the Material Management Warehouse as specified by the Segment Manager.
* To support the Team Leaders, supporting Senior Management in the implementation of Company Policy and Procedure.
* To achieve optimum stock turn and handling for AH UK Ltd.
* To provide necessary support to Management in pursuance of overall Divisional and Company targets.
* Adhere to all documented Company Quality System procedures when carrying out operational duties.
* Conduct material orders / movements in the correct priority sequence.
* Ensure all items are unloaded / handled according to company / airworthiness directives.
* Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external contacts.
* Develop and maintain a teamwork approach to working with colleagues.
* Identify and resolve issues of a problematic nature at onset.
* Ensure the application of SAP and any other business tools consistent with the training received and all work instructions within your possession.
* Maintain departmental administrative systems and provide accurate documentation to support efficient operation.
* Achieve set targets and objectives.
* Operate cross-functionally across the Warehouse functions (inbound / outbound / repairs / tool control).
* Provide regular reports on work in progress to the Team Leaders.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority and liaise effectively with other internal departments.
* Good security awareness and understanding of stock vulnerability within a warehouse environment.
* Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise and work effectively, while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Proven experience of working in a target-led environment and delivering to KPIs.
* Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
* Experience of driving forklift truck equipment and hold a certificate of attendance of relevant training preferred.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
