Role Overview
The PCN Manager/Digital Transformation Lead is a joint job share role supporting the Digital Transformation Manager to deliver the DAD Primary Care Network agenda. The postholder is a key member of the PCN leadership team, working closely with the Clinical Director and PCN board members to provide expertise, coordinate governance, translate policy, and support practices to achieve improved outcomes for the local population.
Main duties of the job
* Deliver high quality primary healthcare within DAD PCN and support the Clinical Director and Board to ensure smooth running of the network (2.5–3 days per week, 18 hrs max).
* Manage and develop the network, producing performance and quality reports and overseeing financial systems, staff payments, and other initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with GDPR, FOI, GMC/BMA, LMC guidance and other professional information management standards.
* Represent DAD PCN in cross‑organisation meetings (locality, ICFT/ICB, GM) as agreed.
Responsibilities
The PCN Manager/Digital Transformation Lead’s responsibilities include:
* Act as primary contact for Practice Managers and Board Members for Network projects and schemes.
* Manage contractual requirements and coordinate training and development of PCN staff.
* Coordinate delivery of enhanced services and other submissions, and provide operational leadership and management to PCN staff.
* Support recruitment, induction and training of new staff, ensuring H&S, governance compliance.
* Conduct staff audits, collate feedback and analysis data, and report to CCG and board members.
* Manage workflow processes, minute meeting minutes, circulate communications, and identify income‑generating opportunities.
* Build relationships with the six practices by attending meetings or visiting office locations.
* Investigate and respond to patient or staff complaints and incidents related to DAD PCN.
Qualifications
Qualifications and experience required:
* Experience of project management.
* Knowledge of working in an administrative/business environment, including finance and HR.
* Previous NHS experience in primary care.
