Job description
Our client, a prominent provider in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional - Controls on a contract basis, stationed at their Barrow site with hybrid working arrangements. This role sits within the Submarine Solutions business unit, contributing to critical defence projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing non-complex project reporting and scheduling
* Resolving basic and routine query problems
* Developing a deep understanding of business processes and procedures
* Utilising general office and administrative skills, including spreadsheets and Microsoft packages
* Attending on-the-job training as necessary
* Engaging in activities typically associated with Year 4 of a Project Management Degree Apprenticeship
Job Requirements:
* Strong administrative capabilities
* Ability to learn and understand business processes and procedures
* Competence with Microsoft Office suite
Contract Details:
* 12-month contract duration
* Based in Barrow with hybrid working arrangements (2 days a week on-site)
