Job description
Our client, a prominent provider in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional - Controls on a contract basis, stationed at their Barrow site with hybrid working arrangements. This role sits within the Submarine Solutions business unit, contributing to critical defence projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performing non-complex project reporting and scheduling
2. Resolving basic and routine query problems
3. Developing a deep understanding of business processes and procedures
4. Utilising general office and administrative skills, including spreadsheets and Microsoft packages
5. Attending on-the-job training as necessary
6. Engaging in activities typically associated with Year 4 of a Project Management Degree Apprenticeship
Job Requirements:
7. Strong administrative capabilities
8. Ability to learn and understand business processes and procedures
9. Competence with Microsoft Office suite
Contract Details:
10. 12-month contract duration
11. Based in Barrow with hybrid working arrangements (2 days a week on-site)
