Job Overview:
We are looking for a fluent Welsh-speaking Supply Teaching Assistant to support schools. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and confident in supporting pupils through the medium of Welsh across a variety of school settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teachers in delivering lessons through the medium of Welsh
* Assist pupils with their learning on a one-to-one or small group basis
* Promote the use of Welsh language in the classroom and wider school environment
* Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning atmosphere
* Provide additional support for pupils with extra learning needs where required
* Adapt quickly to different schools and classroom environments
Requirements:
* Fluency in Welsh (essential)
* Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting (preferred)
* A positive, patient, and flexible approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
