We’re seeking our next Customer Service Assistant to deliver a luxury, home-from-home experience for our students.
Responsibilities of Our Customer Service Assistant
1. Provide exceptional, personalized service to students by anticipating and fulfilling their needs; offer information on local attractions and handle enquiries to ensure a seamless and positive experience.
2. Greet and welcome students and guests with a warm, friendly attitude at the front desk.
3. Be available to answer questions and assist residents and guests.
4. Ensure facilities are maintained respectfully by residents and guests.
5. Maintain the upkeep of the site and facilities; communal areas should be cleaned and maintained to a high standard at all times.
6. Provide solutions to issues or challenges that may arise.
7. Conduct regular block walks every 4-6 hours, surveying and reporting on the condition of the building.
8. Replenish refreshments such as coffee, tea, milk, and vending machine items.
9. Manage and store parcels correctly for easy access by students.
10. Serve as the primary contact for incidents or emergencies onsite.
11. Manage waste areas in compliance with health and safety regulations, addressing hazards as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Professional Experience
* Experienced in customer service, capable of delivering premium experiences.
* Proactive in maintaining cleanliness and safety of communal areas.
* Technologically proficient, familiar with various systems and software.
Personal Characteristics
* Ability to work in a multicultural environment, respecting diversity and inclusion.
* Excellent communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills, with composure under pressure.
* Creative, adaptable, positive, resilient, and capable of handling unexpected situations.
* Able to perform tasks involving extended standing and repetitive movements, with accommodations as needed.
* Flexible availability to support 24/7 operations, including holidays and religious celebrations.
