About The Role
Do you have an active interest and experience in working with Food?
The role will require you:
* To be on hand to support teachers with class practical work
* To order ingredients for demonstrations, tasting activities, and for some students,
* To maintain the food store cupboard, check stock; keep to a high standard of hygiene at all times as requested by the Food Safety Act.
* To prepare resources for teaching staff
* To maintain stock levels and the purchase of ingredients, materials and other consumables
* To assist in the preparation of demonstrations and setting up equipment
* To manage and maintain equipment, tools and materials
* To support the organisation and daily running of the food rooms
* To have an up-to-date Food Safety L2 Award (or willing to undertake once appointed)
* Knowledge of Food and Nutrition and a joy of cooking would be an advantage

Job Details
Salary: NJC GRADE 4, points 5-6 £25,583 - £25,989 (£21,046 - £21,380 pro rata – 35.33 hours)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: 35.33 hours per week 8.00 am – 4.00 pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.00 am – 3.30 pm Fridays (unpaid 30-minute lunch and 20-minute break).
Full-Time, Term Time Only plus INSET Days.
FLEXIBLE HOURS/ DAYS OF WORKING.
