This is an exciting opportunity for a drama or theatre graduate who is looking to develop their skills in drama, directing and theatre production and design at one of the leading schools in the UK.
The Theatre and Drama departments at Uppingham are flourishing and produce a range of exciting productions such as Oliver, Working, Chicago, Romeo and Juliet, the Curious Case of the Dog in the Nighttime and Treasure Island.
The Theatre Graduate Assistant will support the Theatre and Drama departments with all aspects of drama and theatre as well as co-curricular and curriculum activities and practical work in the theatre. They will also act as a tutor in one of the schools 15 boarding houses.
The appointment is for one year in the first instance and would particularly suit a recent graduate who intends to pursue a career in the theatre or performing arts education and who will benefit from the mentoring and experience available at Uppingham. Accommodation will be provided throughout the year.
