Job summary

This post provides a unique opportunity to join the pharmacy aseptic team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (Eastern) initially on a 12 months fixed-term contract and carry out manual, technical, and distribution duties in line with Good Manufacturing Practice and the department's own operating guidelines. The successful candidates will be strong team players with the desire to learn and an eye for detail. The nature of the work can at times be repetitive but requires full concentration. Flexibility is required as the post holder may work on several different tasks in one day and adjust start and finish times to meet service needs.

The post holder will be embedded into the pharmacy aseptic team - Easter services.

We are seeking an experienced professional with previous experience in delivering aseptic services in Section and/or MS license units to join our team and enhance our ability to provide the best care for our patients.

You will be joining our team at an exciting time as we integrate further into multidisciplinary developments within the wider cancer SACT service and work towards launching the Peninsula-wide Beacon Oncology module of EPIC (the Trust's electronic patient record).

You will be an excellent communicator, engaging with healthcare professionals and patients.

You must be highly self-motivated, demonstrate leadership, and be able to plan and work independently and as part of the wider healthcare team to deliver excellent pharmaceutical care.

We are looking for an innovative and experienced SMT, STP, or pharmacy technician to join our team. This role offers extensive opportunities for development within a specialist environment with comprehensive training.
