Overview
Lecturer - Food Studies role at the Limitless Group. Full time, permanent basis. Salary £25,494 - £44,526 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, depending on qualifications and experience.
Key responsibilities
* Plan and develop lessons, including the development of schemes of work
* Develop and implement learner-centred assessment methods, with focus on constructive and developmental feedback for students
* Encourage, monitor and report on the attendance, progress and achievements of students
* Ensure safe working environments for students and colleagues, enforce health and safety standards in your area, ensuring all students understand and comply
* Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsibilities for designated students to support their development and future progression
* Keep abreast of industry developments in your specialist area to ensure relevance and continued employability of students
* Actively participate in continuing professional development around theory and practice within the education sector
Qualifications and experience
* Hold a teaching qualification and have experience of teaching in the Further or Higher Education sectors
* OR have a level 3 qualification in the subject relevant to the course, and be prepared to undertake a Further Education teaching qualification with support as part of the Passport to Teaching programme
* Have recent and relevant experience of teaching food studies to learners from Entry Level to Level 3 with knowledge of the food studies pathway
