Founded and led by a chef whose career includes time spent alongside Marcus Wareing, the restaurant continues to evolve and is now seeking a talented individual to join the management team.
This role would suit an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager or accomplished Sommelier who combines operational expertise with a deep appreciation for food and wine pairing. Youll play a key part in delivering memorable guest experiences, inspiring the front-of-house team, and maintaining the highest standards of service.
What we need from you:
Previous experience in a similar role at a Michelin-starred restaurant (essential)
Hold a minimum of WSET Qualification Level 2, Level 3 ideally, or equivalent (Funding will be provided to achieve your Level 3 qualification)
Strong leadership skills, experience managing a small team
You will be a natural people person with strong communication skills
Organised, proactive and able to keep calm under pressure
A passion for food, drink and customer service
Be a team player and keen to learn more
Must be able to drive or live in the area
What the role involves:
Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant and bar
Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to maintain high service standards and wine knowledge
Deliver exceptional wine service and pairings to complement the menu
Maintain and manage the wine stock, and supplier relationships
Uphold Michelin-level standards of presentation, professionalism, and guest experience
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000per year, depending on your level of experience, plus Tronc and tips.
Hours: Working Thursday to Sunday, 50-55 hours per week. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
