Primary Booster & Intervention Teachers - Year 6 Focus

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for qualified Primary Teachers to join our register for booster and intervention teaching roles across Chesterfield from January. These positions are ideal for teachers who enjoy providing targeted support to pupils, particularly Year 6, as they prepare for their SATs exams.
In these roles, you will be working with small groups or individual pupils, delivering focused sessions in English and Maths, and helping learners build confidence and achieve their potential in the run-up to their assessments.
What the role involves:
Delivering booster and intervention sessions to primary-aged pupils
Supporting Year 6 students in preparation for SATs
Working across Upper Key Stage 2, tailoring sessions to pupil needs
Monitoring progress and adapting teaching to maximise impact
Covering multiple Chesterfield primary schools, depending on need
What we're looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum, particularly Upper KS2
Experience working with Year 6 pupils, ideally in an intervention or booster capacity
Availability for at least two days per week on a consistent basis
Ability to deliver structured, engaging sessions and build rapport quickly
