They are looking for a new Head of Internal Communications to lead on all internal comms across multiple verticals.\n\nRole: Head of Internal Communications\n\nLocation: Central London (hybrid working - 2 or 3 days per week in office)\n\nSalary: £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience\n\nBenefits: 10% annual bonus, 25 days annual leave plus your birthday off, benefits platform with vouchers, discounts, etc., additional benefits including death in service, critical illness cover, private healthcare, tech voucher scheme, and more!\n\nThis role is a fast-paced hands-on role where you will need to hit the ground running and deliver at pace. This role reports to the SVP of Comms and the team plays a strategic role in driving employee engagement, enhancing corporate reputation, and mitigating organisational risk. It also supports leadership effectiveness and helps differentiate the brands and the Group in a competitive market.\n\nAs the Head of Internal Comms, you will:\n\nBuild, shape and actively lead the internal comms strategy in close collaboration with the Country Head of Comms, UK & Ireland.\nBusiness partner with the UK & Ireland Country Head and Leadership team, empowering them to raise employee engagement and lead our people through change.\nProvide expert advice and counsel to deliver strategic and business critical communication programmes, ensuring clear alignment to Group Comms priorities and messages.\nLine-manage an Internal Comms Executive and potentially an External Marketing Exec.\nDevelop and deliver internal comms strategies aligned to our strategic business priorities and transformation needs.\nChampion our "voice" internally.\nProvide strategic counsel to the Country Head of Comms, the Country Head of UK & Ireland, and UK & Ireland Leadership team.\nDevelop and activate content on behalf of the Country Head of UK & Ireland.\nOwn all UK & Ireland internal comms channels and content strategy aligned with the global content framework, including the weekly newsletter, intranet and digital screen platforms.\nAnticipate and resolve internal comms challenges before they happen.\nLead key internal leadership events, from strategy to execution, in partnership with the Marketing/Events team, including the annual employee conference, webinars and town halls.\nOwn the Comms/HR collaboration, acting as a key advisor to HR on employee engagement strategy, and collaborating on the development and activation of key people initiatives such as wellbeing and ED&I.\nBuild the reputation of the Comms function as a trusted strategic advisor to the business.\nCoaching and development of other team members, as appropriate.
\n\nExperience:\n\nProven experience in internal comms roles, preferably within a large business with multiple verticals or business units.\nPrevious people management experience preferred.\nStrong track-record creating and delivering effective internal comms initiatives within a complex business environment.\nTrack-record in effective issues management, reputation management and senior leader positioning.\nExperience working with Senior Leaders and communicating at an executive level.\nEmotionally intelligent and highly collaborative, with a natural ability to build meaningful connections.\nStrategic communicator with strong influencing skills, resilience, and sound judgement.\nPassionate, proactive, and dynamic - driven by instinct and energised by opportunity.\nBelieves in the power of collaboration and brings a solutions-focused mindset.\nAgile thinker who aligns communication strategies with business priorities.\nTrusted advisor with strong consultancy skills and a reputation for sound counsel.\nEffective leader who inspires, connects, and guides teams across complex matrix environments.\nExceptional writer with outstanding project management and execution capabilities.\nDependable under pressure, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes.\nA natural change agent - enthusiastic, inspiring, and impactful.Office Angels is an employment agency and business.
