Salary: £26,450 per annum. Location: Enniskillen, Northern Ireland. Contract/Hours: Permanent, 37 hours per week on a shift rota basis.

Interviews are planned to be held week commencing 22 September 2025.

About the role

As a Housing Support Practitioner, your primary responsibility will be providing assistance to young people aged 16-21 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the local area. Rossorry Grove Supported Accommodation serves as a home for 13 young people, and you will aid them in managing their day-to-day lives and facilitate access to specialised services to address challenges, helping prepare them for their future endeavours.


Responsibilities

* Engaging with vulnerable young people.
* Working with young people in small groups and/or on an individual basis depending on their needs.
* Working alongside other staff teams and external organisations to ensure the best outcomes for the young people.
* Monitoring, recording, and reviewing progress at set intervals; providing additional support as required to meet goals.
* Mentoring and supporting other members of the team.


About you / Qualifications

* Extensive experience of working with vulnerable young people aged 16-21 years in a formal setting.
* Diploma Level 3 or above in youth work or social care related qualifications.
* NISCC Registration or willingness to register.
* Ability to work as part of a team and engage in a 24/7 rota including evenings, nights and weekend work.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Willingness to engage in all associated training and learning related to the role.
