With growth into the site they are looking for a Fleet Workshop Technician to join the close knit team. You will receive on-the-job training and support to enhance your skills Role & Responsibilities:Performing Routine Maintenance tasks and repairs on a wide range of specialist equipment, including vehicles (ranging from 3500kg-44,000kgs GVW), and trailers.Ensuring that fleet equipment operated in the UK and Ireland is maintained and repaired to the highest standardsThis position involves the maintenance, repair, and inspection of vehicles and systemsExpertise in heavy good vehicle, trailer maintenance, inspection and repair, and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards Knowledge, Skills & Experience: A thorough understanding of the DVSA "Goods Vehicle Inspection Manual" and the "Categorization of Defects manual" is essential.Time served apprenticeship, in mechanical engineering, automotive technology. Certification or associate degree in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or a related field preferred.Experience: Experience in HGV/PSV vehicle maintenance, or a similar technical role.Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
