Category Manager - Travel

ProcureOne is partnering with a globally renowned brand to attract a first-class Procurement Category Manager to join their team as they continue to develop and grow.
Reporting to the Senior Category Manager and working within a fantastic procurement team, you will lead end-to-end procurement across various indirect categories, focusing on Travel, Meetings & Events. Responsibilities include:
* Managing the entire procurement cycle, including pre-tender, RFQ, tender documents, execution, and contract award.
* Identifying and delivering sourcing opportunities through insight and analysis.
* Leading spend analysis, supplier fit, and market reviews.
* Managing supplier risk, controls, and governance, ensuring risk assessments are applied to all sourcing decisions.
* Engaging with internal stakeholders up to director level through regular communication.
* Collaborating with business leads to secure the best deals and leading on commercial and contractual negotiations.
* Handling contract management and drafting terms.
* Improving procurement processes and policies, and proactively identifying better ways of working.
* Supporting the business in drafting clear and meaningful specifications.
Suitable candidates will have proven Travel Procurement Category Management experience or be generalists with exposure to the Travel Category.
Team fit is crucial; ideally, candidates will be CIPS qualified, professional, and able to challenge appropriately.
