Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our team in Northallerton.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you'll play a vital role in their lives.

We support adults with learning disabilities who are good friends and live in our supported living service. We aim to grow our lively, inclusive, knowledgeable, and friendly staff team. Our busy home involves activities such as going to day centres, the gym, cinema, socialising, and seeing friends.
What We're Looking For
1. A genuine passion for supporting others.
2. A valid driver’s license is essential.
3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
4. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
5. A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract Options
1. Part-time: flexible hours based on availability.
All our services are 24-hour care. We prepare rotas at least 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal and social life!
* Days: Between 07:00-22:00
* Sleep-ins: 22:00-07:00
