The Job Role
* A senior meetings & events sales coordinator to handle all meetings and events enquiries and fully co‑ordinating the event, in line with the customer's needs and requests
* Brand new hotel opening, be part of building the M&E department and sales pipeline
* Growing the meetings & events sales department
* Responsible for providing a high quality level of service by anticipating customer's needs and always looking at ways to maximise revenue sales
* Respond to all meetings and events enquiries professionals in a timely manner
* Consistently looking to maximise revenue and sales opportunities to increase business
* Opportunity for the position to expand and grow a team and lead into a managerial role
* Working alongside the DOS for proactive sales activity
The Requirements
* You with have a passion and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service and selling meetings and events
* Self motivated
* The ideal senior meetings and events sales coordinator will have minimum 2 year's experience in a meetings and events sales role within a hotel or venue
* To ensure you are maximising sales conversion of all enquiries and driving new buisness
* The sales office manager will build and maintain an excellent team to deliver the best service
