About the Role Our client is an established provider of high-quality adult social care services. They are part of a 7-year local authority framework in Bristol, delivering domiciliary care, day centre support, and extra care services. With council-backed referrals, a stable contract, and a small committed team, they’re ready to re-open their Bristol branch under the leadership of a motivated Registered Manager. This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role and shape a service with high demand and strong growth potential. ️ Key Responsibilities ✅ Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance ✅ Review handovers, alerts & overnight reports ✅ Manage rotas and resolve staff attendance issues ✅ Conduct assessments and care plan reviews ✅ Lead safeguarding responses and incident follow-ups ✅ Liaise with families, GPs, commissioners, and MDTs ✅ Complete audits: care notes, MARs, visit logs, staff files ✅ Support recruitment, training, spot checks & supervisions ✅ Prepare for inspections (CQC & local authority) ✅ Launch and manage a brand-new Day Care Centre ✅ Drive branch growth in line with local authority referrals What’s on Offer Competitive salary: £40,000 – £42,000 Structured induction for Registered Managers Full mandatory training (safeguarding, meds, manual handling, etc.) Support to complete Level 5 Diploma (if not already held) Access to CPD workshops, courses & regulatory updates Leadership coaching or mentorship Opportunity to grow a council-backed service from the ground up Ideal Candidate ✔️ Already registered with CQC as a Registered Manager (or previously held the role) ✔️ Experienced Deputy Managers ready to step up welcome to apply ✔️ Hold a Level 3 or higher Health & Social Care qualification (Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards it) ✔️ Solid experience in domiciliary, day services, or community care ✔️ Confident with audits, safeguarding, staff management, and compliance ✔️ Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills ✔️ Committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care About the Branch 7-year framework contract active through 2031 ⏸️ Referrals currently on hold – you’ll lead the relaunch Core team of 2 active carers in place Strong council demand with huge potential for growth
