About Our Client

Our Customer is a forward-thinking public sector organisation committed to delivering excellent services to the community. They value their people and believe that effective HR partnership is key to driving organisational success. They are now seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team and provide expert HR support across a wide range of areas including TUPE, trade unions, and pay & reward.

Job Description

As the HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing expert HR guidance and support on the following;

3. Provide strategic and operational HR advice and support to managers and senior leaders.
4. Manage TUPE processes and transfers ensuring compliance and smooth transitions.
5. Build and maintain positive working relationships with trade unions and employee representatives.
6. Support the design, implementation, and review of pay and reward frameworks within the organisation.
7. Lead on employee relations issues, promoting constructive dialogue and resolution.
8. Collaborate with HR colleagues to develop policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned to organisational goals.
9. Contribute to workforce planning and organisational development activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Business Partner should;

10. Be immediately available/ Available at short notice
11. Commit to a 6 month FTC
12. Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a public sector or similarly complex environment.
13. Strong expertise in TUPE legislation and practical application.
14. Experience working collaboratively with trade unions and managing employee relations.
15. Understanding of pay and reward structures within the public sector.
16. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence at all levels.
17. Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic and solution-focused approach.
18. CIPD qualification or equivalent HR professional accreditation desirable
