Senior Electrical Design Engineer

An established, privately owned multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing M&E team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a business known for delivering complex, large-scale development and infrastructure projects across the UK. The company operates at the forefront of design, offering integrated consultancy services across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, education, regeneration and mixed‑use developments.
The Role
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality building services solutions across a diverse project portfolio.
* Producing electrical building services designs including calculations, specifications and drawings
* Designing systems such as power, lighting, containment and life safety
* Supporting projects from concept through to detailed design and delivery
* Carrying out surveys and reporting on existing electrical systems
* Preparing tender documentation and supporting procurement processes
* Assisting with contract administration and project coordination during construction
* Attending site and undertaking witnessing/commissioning activities
* Collaborating closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
About You
* Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
* Strong experience in electrical design within the built environment
* Proficient with AutoCAD (Revit experience beneficial)
* Working towards or already Chartered
* Full UK driving licence
