Location: Farnborough
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
Security Clearance: Requires ability to obtain a UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.

What You’ll Do
* Partner with ICT Architects to turn infrastructure designs into reality and guide projects through their lifecycle.
* Create clear, insightful documentation and reports that support the IT Infrastructure & Security function.
* Be the go-to technical expert for IT Systems Administrators and Analysts when challenges arise.
* Define and optimize our technology stack to strengthen security, disaster recovery, and business-as-usual support across production and pre-production environments.
* Collaborate with teams such as PMO, NOC, SOC, and network delivery to ensure seamless integration between operational and business support systems.
* Shape and manage the department’s IT Disaster Recovery strategy alongside the IT Systems Lead.
* Present complex technical concepts in a way that everyone—from techies to non‑techies—understands.
Who You Are
* Experience designing and deploying secure on-prem technology solutions.
* Strong background in managing enterprise infrastructure environments.
* Proven ability in infrastructure sizing and capacity planning.
* Hands‑on experience with infrastructure automation.
* Solid knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware) and SAN environments (EMC).
* Deep understanding of core IT and security principles.
* A degree in Computer Science or IT—or equivalent industry experience.
* Proactive, self‑motivated, and eager to stay ahead of emerging technologies.
* Eligible and willing to undergo DV clearance.
