4. Perform start-of-day checks and participate in a "follow-the-sun" support model alongside colleagues in other global regions.
5. Automate manual processes using scripting tools (Perl, Python or similar) to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
6. Manage deployments, testing, and upgrades across production and pre-production environments.
7. Provide specialist support for transaction and regulatory reporting workflows.
8. Contribute to strategic projects, including platform modernisation and cloud adoption programmes.
What We're Looking For:
9. 6+ years' experience supporting mission-critical systems in financial services (trading, platform, or venue experience highly desirable).
10. Expertise with Unix/Linux environments plus solid Windows Server support experience.
11. Strong knowledge of FIX protocol, relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, or Sybase), and network troubleshooting (firewall/routing).
12. Practical experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure or GCP) and container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes).
13. Familiarity with monitoring tools (ITRS, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus or similar) and proven SRE practices.
14. Skilled in scripting and automation to improve operational performance.
15. Understanding of equity market mechanics and regulatory reporting flows.
16. ITIL foundation or prior experience in change-controlled environments.
Why This Role?
17. Join a globally recognised organisation with a strong reputation for innovation and technical excellence.
18. High-impact, hands-on position with autonomy to drive service improvements.
19. Gain exposure to cutting-edge technology, proprietary platforms and large-scale migration programmes.
20. Attractive salary and benefits, with excellent scope for career development.
