Description Job Title: Assistant Finance Analyst – Marketing Location: Leicester – Enderby, Next Head Office Salary: From £35,000 plus bonus & benefits Are you a numbers person who’s also excited by creativity, branding, and campaign impact? We’re looking for an Assistant Finance Analyst to join our fast-paced Commercial Finance team, where you’ll partner closely with our high-profile Digital Marketing team and support Retail and Creation Marketing too. This role sits at the intersection of finance and marketing, giving you a unique opportunity to influence how we invest in marketing across the UK, International markets, and our growing Total Platform client base. You'll play a key part in shaping how we evaluate, measure, and optimise our marketing spend—bringing insight and accountability to an area of the business that continues to grow in both importance and investment. What You’ll Be Doing: Support Key Marketing Teams : Work alongside Digital, In-Store and Creation Marketing teams to understand costs, provide financial insight, and assess opportunities. Weekly Campaign Review : Monitor UK and international digital marketing performance, helping assess ROI and optimise spend. Cost Centre Reviews : Meet regularly with stakeholders to review performance, understand variances to forecast, and offer insight. Financial Appraisals : Run cash flow and NPV models for weekly and ad hoc marketing investments. Forecasting & Budgeting : Take part in monthly forecasts and twice-yearly budgeting—pulling together information, analysing results, and preparing for Director-level discussions. Balance Sheet Work : Manage and reconcile key marketing balances with supporting documentation and analysis. International Support : Partner with our growing international marketing team to ensure accurate project costing and strategic support. Retail & Creation Marketing : Track campaign and shoot costs, ensuring they’re accounted for correctly and aligned to forecasts. Ad Hoc Projects : Investigate and respond to finance queries from across the business. What We’re Looking For: CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or part-qualified (more than just exemptions) Strong Excel skills—confident working with data and building models Someone who can interpret and explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders Excellent time management and organisation skills—you’ll be juggling a busy workload with competing deadlines A self-starter who’s comfortable working independently and taking the initiative This is a great opportunity to develop your finance career while gaining hands-on experience in one of the most commercially influential areas of our business.
