Role overview:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students who require additional behavioural and emotional support. You will work closely with pastoral leaders, teachers, and families to help students overcome barriers to learning and improve their engagement in school.
Key responsibilities:
* Support students with behavioural needs both in and out of the classroom
* Build positive relationships to encourage engagement and personal development
* Implement behaviour support strategies and interventions
* Work closely with Heads of Year and safeguarding teams
* Monitor student progress and behaviour, providing regular feedback
* Support reintegration of students into lessons following behavioural incidents
* Liaise with parents and external agencies where required
